Food Processing Environments
Food processing areas require cooling that maintains product safety throughout the production process. Temperature requirements vary by product type — bakery cooling rooms typically require 10-15°C, meat processing areas 4-8°C, and confectionery environments may need precise humidity control alongside temperature. We design systems to the specific requirements of each production environment.
All equipment specified for food processing environments uses food-safe materials, is cleanable to the standards required by food hygiene regulations and is designed to prevent contamination of the product.
Cold Rooms and Walk-In Chillers
Walk-in cold rooms for food storage require specialist refrigeration equipment — not standard comfort cooling. We specify and install cold room evaporator units, condensing units and controls appropriate for the temperature range and loading. For chilled storage (0-5°C), blast chilling (-18°C for rapid chilling) and frozen storage (-18 to -25°C), we specify the appropriate refrigeration technology.
