Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air Conditioning
MHI | Residential & Commercial | Surrey, Sussex & South London
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) is a separate company from Mitsubishi Electric — both are members of the Mitsubishi group but operate independently and produce different product ranges. MHI air conditioning is widely installed in commercial buildings and is a strong option for certain applications. AirCon Doctor install and service MHI systems across Surrey, Sussex and South London.
MHI vs Mitsubishi Electric
The two Mitsubishi brands are often confused but are distinct products with different design, different parts and different service requirements. Mitsubishi Electric (the more familiar brand in UK residential markets) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries both produce quality systems — but they are not interchangeable. If you have an existing system, check the nameplate carefully: “Mitsubishi Electric” and “Mitsubishi Heavy Industries” or “MHI” indicate different manufacturers.
MHI Residential Range
The MHI SRK domestic wall-mounted series is well-regarded for reliability and cooling performance. The units are generally priced competitively with Fujitsu and LG mid-range equivalents. The SRK range covers 2.0kW through to 7.1kW capacities.
MHI Commercial Range
MHI’s commercial range includes the FDT cassette series, FDE ducted units and the KX6 VRF system for multi-zone commercial applications. The KX6 VRF is a capable commercial system widely specified in offices, hotels and retail — competitive with Mitsubishi Electric City Multi and Daikin VRV at favourable pricing.
MHI Servicing and Repair
We service and repair all MHI systems. Parts availability is good for current models. Annual service from £95. Emergency repair call-out available.
