Hitachi Frost Wash — Self-Cleaning Technology
Hitachi’s Frost Wash technology is the most interesting differentiator in their residential range — the system periodically freezes the evaporator coil surface and then deffrosts it, washing accumulated contamination off the coil automatically. This maintains coil cleanliness and efficiency between annual services without requiring the homeowner to do anything. For clients in dusty environments or who want to maximise system efficiency with minimum manual maintenance, this is a meaningful feature.
